ATS Converter — Service-Specific Terms
Last updated: November 16, 2026
These Service-Specific Terms apply to the use of ATS Converter's PDF upload, automated CV processing and digital output generation service.
These terms supplement our general Terms and Conditions, which are hosted and managed through iubenda. In case of conflict between these Service-Specific Terms and the general Terms and Conditions, these Service-Specific Terms shall apply only to the specific aspects of PDF uploads, automated processing, digital outputs, technical limitations and refund limitations.
1. Scope of the Service
ATS Converter provides a digital service that allows users to upload a CV, generally in PDF format, in order to receive a reformatted and more structured version of the content, intended to improve readability and compatibility with ATS-oriented resume structures.
The Service is based on automated or semi-automated processing technologies. The output is generated according to the information contained in the file uploaded by the User and according to the technical capabilities and limitations of the system.
The Service does not replace professional career advice, legal advice, recruitment advice or a guarantee of employability.
2. User-Uploaded Files
The User is responsible for uploading a file that is readable, complete, accurate and technically suitable for automated processing.
The system is designed to process a wide range of PDF files and digital documents. However, the correct processing of the uploaded file depends on the quality, structure and readability of the file provided by the User.
The User agrees not to upload files that are corrupted, protected, unreadable, incomplete, misleading, unlawful or technically unsuitable for processing.
The User is solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of the information contained in the uploaded file.
3. Image-Based, Scanned or Non-Readable Files
Some files may not be processed correctly by the system. This may include, by way of example:
- scanned CVs;
- photographs converted into PDF;
- image-based PDF files;
- screenshots converted into PDF;
- files where the text is not selectable;
- files with very low resolution;
- files with unusual formatting;
- corrupted or password-protected files;
- documents where the relevant content cannot be properly detected or extracted.
The User acknowledges that these types of files may generate incomplete, inaccurate, distorted or unusable outputs.
If the User uploads an image-based, scanned, non-readable or technically unsuitable file, the resulting output may not reflect the actual content of the original CV.
4. Technical Limitations of the Service
ATS Converter is designed to provide a useful and structured digital output. However, the Provider does not guarantee that every file will be read, interpreted, reformatted or converted perfectly.
The User acknowledges that automated processing may involve limitations, including but not limited to:
- incorrect extraction of text;
- missing information;
- formatting inaccuracies;
- incorrect section recognition;
- altered spacing or layout;
- partial misinterpretation of the source file;
- differences between the uploaded file and the generated output.
The Provider undertakes to make reasonable efforts to provide a technically functioning service, but does not guarantee that the output will be error-free, complete, suitable for every recruitment process or accepted by every ATS system.
5. No Guarantee of ATS, Recruitment or Employment Results
The Service is intended to improve the structure, readability and organization of the User's CV according to criteria generally associated with ATS-friendly resume formatting.
The Provider does not guarantee that the User's CV will successfully pass any specific ATS system, ranking algorithm, screening process, recruiter review or employer selection process.
The Provider does not guarantee that the User will be contacted, selected, invited to interview, hired or otherwise favored by employers, recruiters, ATS systems, job boards or any third party.
The outcome of any job application depends on several factors outside the Provider's control, including but not limited to:
- the User's professional profile;
- the quality and relevance of the User's experience;
- the requirements of the position;
- the labor market;
- employer decisions;
- recruiter criteria;
- third-party platforms;
- ATS software settings;
- the number and quality of other applicants.
6. Refund Limitations
Without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable law, the User shall not be entitled to a refund where an incorrect, incomplete or unsatisfactory output is caused by a file uploaded by the User that is unreadable, corrupted, scanned, image-based, incomplete, password-protected or otherwise technically unsuitable for automated processing.
In particular, no refund shall be due solely because the uploaded file consists of images, photographs, screenshots or scanned pages converted into PDF, where such format prevents or limits proper text extraction and processing.
The Provider may, at its sole discretion, offer a new processing attempt, a credit or another corrective solution where the issue is caused by a technical malfunction of the Service not attributable to the User.
Aesthetic preferences, subjective dissatisfaction with layout choices, or expectations not expressly included in the Service description shall not automatically entitle the User to a refund.
7. User Review of the Output
The User is responsible for reviewing the generated output before using it for job applications or sharing it with third parties.
The User should verify that all personal information, work experience, education, skills, dates, contact details and other relevant information are accurate and complete.
The Provider shall not be responsible for consequences resulting from the User's failure to review, correct or validate the generated output before use.
8. Immediate Execution of the Digital Service
By purchasing the Service, the User expressly requests that the processing of the uploaded file and the generation of the digital output begin immediately after payment.
The User acknowledges that the Service consists of the supply of a digital output generated on the basis of the file uploaded by the User.
Once the processing has started or the digital output has been made available, the Service may be considered fully or partially performed and the right of withdrawal may be excluded or limited in accordance with applicable law.
9. Relationship with the General Terms and Conditions
These Service-Specific Terms form an integral part of the general Terms and Conditions of ATS Converter.
The general Terms and Conditions are hosted and managed through iubenda and remain applicable to all matters not specifically regulated by these Service-Specific Terms.
By using the Service, the User accepts both the general Terms and Conditions and these Service-Specific Terms.
